Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring! John slowly gets up to answer, but it goes straight to voice mail. "John It's me, Jade, your soon to be ex-girlfriend", John still getting out of bed, looked concerned as he listened. She continued, "You were supposed to meet me at Dos Perros last night, it was our second anniversary John. I'm tired of you never keeping your word, and this was the last straw, were through, Goodbye John." He quickly tries to pick up the phone and catch her. "Wait Jade I'm here, I'm sorry OK, I got caught up at work, I had to work overt time. You know how bad I've been working on this promotion come on please Jade....Jade?!" He realizes she hung up already, and drops the phone. Angrily, he storms out of the house. He gets in his car, but it wouldn't start. Even more angry, he jumps out of the car and begins to walk, as he walks he hears a dog barking from his neighbors yard. The same dog that barks everyday. Fed up, John turned and barked back at the dog, and let out a big "Shut Up, you little mut, before i feed you to my Asian friend." In the middle of it, he collapsed to the floor, passed out.
He woke up the next day in a hospital. "John? John can you hear me?" said Dr. Lee. "Yes, I can hear you doc, what happened to me." "Well, John, it's clear you've been going through a lot of stress lately, because no one just out of the blue yells at a dog John, well that's what I heard from your neighbors." "Yes sir, I have," John said." "Well that may be a problem John, your blood pressure was sky high, I bet when you left the house," said Dr. Lee." "Yes sir," John replied. "Well that scream at the dog was just icing on the cake John, it blasted your pressure through the roof causing you to pass out John, I'm sorry but telling by the tests I ran, you have a tumor on the right lobe of your brain, a quite severe one, and I estimated that you have one week to live John, I am so very sorry." John crushed by the news he receives, Dr. Lee sits on the bed with John, "Listen, find your best lady, make thing right with her, get her a dog, women like animals, and buy her a bouquet of her favor flowers, they absolutely love that,........grab life by the horns John." Dr. Lee walks away, John catches him at the door, "Wait, Mr. Lee, how did you know.""You were talking in your sleep, she's all you talked about", Dr. Lee said, and they both chuckled. "Make things right", Dr. Lee said.
John left the hospital with a new out look on life and all he had wronged. He quit his job to please himself, but now it was time to win back his beloved Jade. He went to her apartment and caught the door right when she was going to slam it in his face. He explained how much he loved her, and how much he wanted her forgiveness for how he treated her. "John, you don't listen to me when I pore my heart out to you, or any other time", Jade exclaimed. "Jade, remember when we first met, and we were talking, and you said how you would fall in love with a man that would get down on one knee and give you your favorite bouquet of tulips." John said. "Yes", she said calmly. John got down on one knee and said "Would you fall deeper in love with me", as he pulls out a bouquet of tulips. She cry's, and hugs him. "I"m sorry Jade." Then he walks away. Went missing til' his final days. Everyone lay mourn.
